- Sjors van Wanrooij (Accenture)
Hi all. My name is Sjors and I work at Accenture, specifically for clients in the energy sector. With the energy transition in full swing, there is a lot to do within this sector which makes it a very interesting sector to work in. Additionally, it gives me the opportunity to really make an impact. Currently, I’m also focusing on hydrogen, expanding my own knowledge as well as sharing my knowledge within Accenture.
This is also why I joined the YEP board, to gain even more knowledge within the energy sector/transition, but also to connect with other young professionals and to make fun in the process. By joining the YEP board I hope to organize many interesting events at which we can share experiences and knowledge amongst each other and to make other young professionals enthusiastic about the energy sector/transition.
- Mark van der Boor (TenneT)
My name is Mark and I am thrilled to introduce myself as an enthusiastic advocate for energy transitions, currently engaged in shaping a sustainable future at TenneT. As an international trainee, I bring a diverse perspective and a global outlook to my work, fueling my passion for driving positive change in the energy sector.
At TenneT, I am fortunate to align my career with my passion for energy transitions, actively participating in the transformation of the energy sector towards a more sustainable future. Believing in the importance of a well-rounded work experience, I joined the Young Energy Professionals board to not only contribute to organizing events but also to network beyond the confines of TenneT. This endeavor allows me to forge connections and exchange insights with fellow professionals, enriching my understanding and broadening my impact in the field.
I am committed to leveraging my skills and experiences to drive innovation, collaboration, and progress in the energy transition journey. Together, let us illuminate the path towards a brighter, more sustainable future.
- Rob van Zoelen (New Energy Coalition)
Hi all! I’m Rob. My personal motivation is to contribute to a better society and I believe transforming to new types of energy is one of the important challenges to do so. Since I’m at the start of my career, I like to broaden my perspective on energy related issues. Therefore, I am excited to bring young energy professionals together in an informal but inspiring way.
In my daily work I’m involved in multiple applied research projects at New Energy Coalition. Like the name of the organisation states: we’re usually performing these projects together with a wide variety of industrial, governmental and research related stakeholders.
I joined the TEP board because I like the concept of bringing young energy professionals together. In this rapidly changing sector collaboration is important to realize cutting edge developments. So why not start to develop the network, knowledge and personal skills to establish these collaborations today?
